Coverage remains effective while the insured equipment is in operation, at rest, during dismantling for cleaning or overhauling, and during subsequent re-erection at the same or approved locations.

The sum insured under the policy must represent the current replacement cost of the insured machinery. Replacement cost includes freight, duties, customs charges, and erection or installation costs, wherever applicable.
